# Installing resource pack

The official server resource pack is a key part of your experience here! We’ve put a lot of effort into creating custom content with it, so to get the most out of the server, we highly recommend installing the resource pack. Don’t worry, it’s super easy! Below, you’ll find a step-by-step guide to help you install the server’s resource pack. Let’s get started!<br>

1. In your Minecraft menu, press the "<mark style="color:yellow;">Multiplayer</mark>" button and click "<mark style="color:yellow;">Add Server</mark>".
2. Input the server IP <mark style="color:red;">**play.lilacmc.net**</mark> in the "<mark style="color:blue;">Server Address</mark>" text box.
3. Set "<mark style="color:yellow;">Server Resource Packs</mark>" to <mark style="color:green;">**Enabled**</mark>.
4. Press done and connect to the server!<br>
