🎮Gameplay Rules

1) DO NOT DESTROY OR DEFACE ANY PLAYER BUILDS IN THE SERVER (AKA NO GRIEFING).

• Destroying or placing blocks within 10 chunks of a town without permission (Border Griefing) is not allowed.

• Player-built structures in Resource worlds and unclaimed areas also fall under this rule, even if it seems abandoned.

• Small builds from inactive players that haven't logged on for more than six months or larger builds wherein the player hasn't logged in for more than nine months can be claimed, with staff permission. Chests, barrels, shulkers, etc associated with such builds will be removed. This includes structures in the wilderness and deleted towns.

• Do not use the main worlds to gather materials. Use the resource worlds for this instead.

• Failing to respect areas which are made publicly accessible by other players (i.e. not replanting in public farm areas for crops and trees or failing to report blocks that have been accidentally broken) can result in a punishment.

2) PVP REQUIRES CONSENT FROM BOTH PARTIES.

• There is a designated PvP arena for this which has Keep Inventory and Keep EXP.

• Killing a player without their consent can lead to a punishment.

3) CLAIMING TOWNS/HOMES 10 CHUNKS NEAR ANOTHER TOWN WITHOUT PERMISSION CAN RESULT IN THE TOWN BEING DELETED.

• Upon request, your town structures can be moved to a different location if you accidentally built too close to another town.

• Both parties in this case are expected to respect one another. Failure to do so may lead to a punishment.

• No spider claiming is allowed in Main World 3. We reserve the right to remove these claims and take further action if necessary. We highly suggest that you do not do this in Main Worlds 1 and 2, either. Spider claiming is the act of placing claims around a town or area in order to block off players from claiming a large area of land or not having to use as many claims.

4) DO NOT TRY TO FIND OR ABUSE A WAY AROUND THE ANTI-AFK PLUGIN.

5) STEALING ITEMS, ANIMALS, LOOT, AND MOB KILLS FROM OTHER PLAYERS IS NOT ALLOWED.

• The following are examples that fall under this rule:

  • Using a map with the intent to steal mapart.

  • Looting unlocked containers or any type of storage in abandoned towns (this is considered griefing)

  • Following players during events to steal kills/items.

  • Killing animals within 1-2 chunks of a town.

  • Stealing/copying original designs built by other players on Lilac is not permitted without explicit permission from the builder of said design.

  • Not letting people finish using the End arena by spawning another dragon, participating in killing without permission, and kill stealing. Players can stay at the end arena for one hour at a time, or until another player requests to grind in the arena.

• Do not resell or copy ARTMAPS or MAPARTS that you did not make yourself without explicit permission from the player who did.

6) BUILDING REDSTONE MACHINES OR FARMS THAT CAUSE SERVER LAG WILL BE REMOVED AUTOMATICALLY BY STAFF.

• The following falls under this rule:

  • Flying machines

  • Mob farms that spawn an unreasonable amount of mobs.

  • Any contraption that is proven to cause lag in the server such as chunk loaders or machines that utilizes extremely fast clocks and are constantly on. If you are unsure about a certain contraption, ask staff first!

  • Fully automated farms that utilize observers.

  • Any zero-tick farms.

• Auto cookers and auto brewers are allowed so long as the machines are under the redstone limit. However, if staff members find your machine to be causing immense lag, it will be removed without prior warning.

• Do not use redstone machines in the /shop marketplace, as these cause server lag. Such contraptions will be deleted without warning with the potential loss of items.

7) NO EXPLICIT/INAPPROPRIATE CONTENT VIA MAPART, PIXEL ART, BUILDS, BOOKS, AND OTHER MEANS.

• If you are unsure if the mapart/pixel art you wish to make, or the topic of your book, is allowed, please ask a staff member or make a ticket.

8) ANY ATTEMPTS TO SABOTAGE (BREAK RULES OR EXPLOIT BUGS) EVENTS CAN AND WILL BE MET WITH AN UNAPPEALABLE BAN UNTIL THE EVENT IS OVER.

• Using an alt or "friend" whom logs in solely to get to get additional event items for you is taking advantage and considered multiplaying and is not allowed. This will result in a ban.

9) AFTER 1 MONTH OF INACTIVITY, TOWN MAYORS CAN REQUEST FOR THE CHEST REMOVAL OF THEIR RESIDENTS.

• The chests of a permanently banned player will be removed.

• In the case that a player has left the town, or is active, but does not respond to chest removal requests. Chests will be moved to a staff-only world upon request.

10) PLAYER WARPS CAN BE CLAIMED 3 DAYS AFTER THEIR EXPIRATION AT THE EARLIEST OR WITH PERMISSION FROM THE PREVIOUS/ORIGINAL OWNER.
